Tenichi’s novel The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen will be adapted into a TV anime in July 2023. The main cast and staff, teaser visual, and teaser PV have been released.
The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen” is an otherworldly fantasy about Pride, the worst queen who torments her country and her people in the Otome game (A ray of light with you). Pride, who has recalled her memories of her previous life, modifies the story in the game in order to avert the coming tragedy and create a world where all the characters can be happy.
Fairouz Ai plays the role of Pride, the first princess of the queenly Kingdom of Freesia; Amaya Uchida plays the role of Steele, Pride’s brother-in-law and the target of “A ray of light with you” and Haruka Tomatsu plays the role of Tiara, the second princess of the Kingdom of Freesia. The animation is directed by Norio Nitta, series composition by Deko Akao, character design by Hitomi Kono, and animation production by OLM Team Yoshioka.
The teaser visual depicts Pride with a positive and strong will in her expression, and the pride of a diabolical ruthless ruthless boss queen, which is her original appearance in the game. The teaser PV also depicts Pride, who realizes that she can alter the game’s storyline in this world, and aims to become the best queen in order to avert tragedy and make everyone happy.

As the title suggests, this is a story about a protagonist reincarnated as a rascally villainess who serves her people without regard for herself, and the monologue scenes of pride and the story as a whole were interesting because they had a good balance between seriousness and comedy! Also, each character’s backbone and emotional changes are described very carefully, so I’m sure you will find your favorite character as you read the book!

Pride becomes a completely different character in the state of memory of my previous life and in the outcast pride that is in line with the original game story. If anything, I can act with more gusto as the outcast Pride, so I struggled at first with the role of the gentle and dignified girl after regaining her memory (laugh).
Steele (CV. Maaya Uchida)
Pride’s brother-in-law and the target of the attack in “A ray of light with you”. He is a commoner, but because of his special ability, he was adopted by the royal family as an assistant to Pride. He devises various schemes to protect Pride, who has welcomed him with open arms.

The main character, Pride, is strong, kind, and charming, so everyone is saved by her and falls in love with her… Pride is actually the last boss, right? The fact that we can’t read what the ending will be yet is what makes me curious.

Steele has a black-hearted part, but I hope he will be happy, including his painful past! He is a character that makes you wish for happiness. He gradually grows as a person as he gains pride, Tiara, Arthur, and friends of similar age. I hope to deepen his charm as the story progresses!

The second princess of the Freesia Kingdom and Pride’s younger sister by two years. She is the main character in (A ray of light with you), and was destined to defeat Pride along with the final target of the attack. She is physically weak, and her existence was kept secret until her sixth birthday to keep her away from assassinations and kidnappings.

I wonder if I am allowed to play such a pretty princess… every week I play the role with a sense of excitement (laughs). She is just so pure, lovely, graceful, cute, and has 100% of the princess factor. Now that I have been given the role, I will do my best to play her.
