Tsuyokute New Saga will be adapted into an animated
TV series to be broadcast from July 2023.
The TV anime Tsuyokute New Saga is an anime adaptation of the novel of the same title written by Masayuki Abe and illustrated by Ryuta Fuse, and the manga of the same title written by Jun Miura. Set in a world ravaged by an invasion of demons, this is an adventure story in which the main character, Kyle, who has defeated the Demon King but is himself running out of strength, returns to four years ago and challenges his second life with the memories and experiences of his previous life so that the same tragedy will never happen again. The original novel and manga are published by Alpha Police.
The cast and crew of the anime have also been revealed. The cast includes Yuma Uchida as Kyle, Hiro Shimono as Seran, Fairouz Ai as Lise, Asami Seto as Urza, and Minami Takahashi as Sildonia. The anime is directed by Norikazu Ishigooka, series composition by Kenta Inohara, character design by Atsushi Asayo, and music by Hirokei Anazawa, president of SOIL&”PIMP “SESSIONS. Animation production is jointly handled by Sotsu, Makaria, and Yokohama Animation Lab. Uchida, Shimono, Fairouz, Seto, and Takahashi commented on the project.
In addition, a teaser visual, character visuals, and a teaser PV were released. The teaser visual and character visuals are based on illustrations for “Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Familia Chronicle” and “The Executioner and Her Way of Life. Niritsu, who also participates as an animation character draftsman, drew the illustrations. The teaser PV shows Kyle’s fierce struggle to defeat the Demon King, the world collapsed by the demon tribe, and the beginning of Kyle’s second round of life.

It was a great hit with me, who originally loves fantasy. It is easy to get emotionally involved and enjoy the main character as he creates a new path based on his previous life experiences. I hope those who like old-fashioned royal road fantasy will enjoy this one!

I felt that Kyle’s straightforwardness is one of the best things about him. I feel that this is what led to his popularity and attractiveness in the previous history, when he defeated the Demon King together with his friends. This work has a difficult setting where the story starts from a place where time is rewound, but I would like to play my role well.

The main character Kyle, who has achieved his goal of defeating the Demon King, is reincarnated in the past from the depths of despair with no friends to share his joy… I personally thought that reincarnation in the past is rare among the many reincarnation works. If I were placed in the same situation as the main character Kyle, I would probably do the same to change the sad future….

The character I am going to play, Seran, is a good-natured, playful, and straight-forward in his desires. He likes girls and doesn’t try to hide the fact that he wants to be popular with them. He is a bit of a crazy guy who is willing to get down on his knees to ask for food when the situation calls for it, but he seems to have a wide range as a person with his sword skills and his love for his friends, so I am looking forward to playing him!

The main character has experienced a tragedy once and is struggling to avoid that future, which is portrayed in a cool and sometimes comical way!

Lise is very cute and has a kind heart, but she is also very capable of killing a bear with her bare hands, so I think she has a lot of room to grow. She’s a wonderful girl! I’ll do my best with all the fun party members!

The climax of the story was the defeat of the Demon King from the beginning, and in the midst of the fierce battle, the relationship between the party members was slightly visible, and I was drawn into the story from the same perspective as the main character Kyle in the second round that began here. I was thrilled by the new truths that came to light as he took action to prevent the same tragedy from happening again.

Urza is a serious woman, so I got the impression that she is being pushed around by the aloof Kyle. She is not a talkative person and gives the impression of being stiff, but in fact, she looks carefully at the people around her and when she recognizes them, she opens up to them and is kind and gentle. I hope to express the gap between her seriousness and her comical side.

I was fascinated by the main character who not only goes back to the past, but also does whatever it takes to act for the sake of those she cares about. I became deeply attached to the new hero who is not only right but also a new hero and the characters who are in the midst of this destiny, even though I am not the one who rewound the story…! It’s really interesting and I’m enjoying it as a reader regardless of the fact that I’m in this anime!

She looks cute, but I have the impression that she is the most determined. Sildonia is the only character who shares with Kyle the experience of the future before she was reincarnated in the past, so I am trying to play her without blurring the line between the two. By the way, if I were to go on an adventure, I’d like to take Sildonia with me and eat sweets with her while changing the fate of the world.

It was May 2012 when I first published this “Tsuyokute New Saga” on the Internet, and more than 10 years have already passed. I don’t think I would have believed it if I had told myself back then that it would become an anime in the future. I myself am still restless or even soaring ……
